Three New Orleans residents have been arrested in Baton Rouge on suspicion of Medicaid fraud, Attorney General Jeff Landy’s office announced Monday (Nov. 7).
All aged 45-years old, the arrestees are accused of seeking fraudulent claims for providing medical services. The attorney general’s office did not indicate whether the three New Orleans residents and a fourth person arrested, from Independence, were related cases. All four were booked into East Baton Rouge Parish jail.
Their alleged offenses were listed in a news release from the attorney general’s office:
