It is the largest Medicaid fraud settlement stemming from a Vermont investigation, said Assistant Attorney General Jason Turner.State investigators alleged that Burlington Labs charged the Medicaid program for screening multiple drugs in cases when only a single charge was allowed. The investigation focused on charges that occurred primarily from January to June 2015.Burlington Labs has admitted certain facts of the case, but denied breaking any state or federal law, or committing fraud, according to the settlement agreement.”This settlement balances the ongoing needs for drug testing services in  …
