Gov. Kasich’s heroic stand on Medicaid

Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio, won the silver medal in last week’s New Hampshire primary. Most political spectators, however, still consider Kasich a dark horse because his campaign coffers are almost dry, and he lacks the ground game to run an effective national campaign. Additionally, he is labeled a “moderate” who has little chance to win the nomination, especially as the primaries move to the conservative South.
