Washington — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will be holding two webinars to assist eligible Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program providers with their applications to receive funding from the department’s Enhanced Provider Relief Fund Payment Portal.

The webinars are scheduled for June 23 and 25 and preregistration is recommended to participate. Providers can choose to register on their preferred date and also recommend questions they’d like to see answered during the event:

June 23 at 2 p.m. EST.
June 25 at 2 p.m. EST.

The launch of the enhanced portal was part of the June 9 HHS announcement of a Targeted Medicaid Distribution that said eligible Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program dental providers may apply for relief fund payments. The payment to each provider will be at least 2% of reported gross revenue from patient care and the final amount each provider receives will be determined after the data is submitted, including information about the number of Medicaid patients the provider serves, according to HHS.

Before applying to receive funding, HHS recommends providers first:

• Read the Medicaid Provider Distribution Instructions Form.
• Download the Medicaid Provider Distribution Application Form.
