Organizations that support continuation of the Medicaid expansion under Obamacare note that roughly 1.75 million veterans rely on Medicaid for health coverage and would be imperiled by cuts in the program.
The number grew exponentially thanks to Obamacare, an 80 percent increase according to Families USA from 2013 to 2015. Those covered included 27,000 Arkansas veterans. Remember our Arkansas House delegation this Memorial Day for their vote to slash the program. They want to roll back the 80 percent increase in the number of veterans covered.
