VALDOSTA — A Valdosta dentist pleaded guilty this week to allegations he charged Medicaid for extracting teeth he did not pull.Dr. Stanley B. Marable, DDS, 55, pleaded guilty to one count of health care fraud in the federal courtroom in Valdosta, according to court records.Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 8, 2017, according to the Middle District of Georgia’s U.S. Attorney’s Office.Marable faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine up to $250,000 and up to three years of supervised release.Marable has agreed to pay a total of $789,841 in restitution to the Georgia Medicaid Program as part of his plea agreement, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.An April federal indictment accused Marable of 12 counts of health care fraud.
