The agency is hosting meetings between May 29 and June 4 in nine communities using the statewide videoconferencing system. A meeting will be at 1 p.m. June 4 in room 320 at the North Dakota State Hospital, 2605 Circle Drive, Jamestown.

Division staff will briefly review the current waiver at the meeting and attendees will be able to share observations about the waiver.

The waiver program provides federal matching funds for in-home and community-based services for individuals with intellectual disabilities who qualify for Medicaid and level-of-care requirements, said Tina Bay, director, Developmental Disabilities Division. Approximately 5,300 North Dakotans used a state Medicaid waiver in 2017.
